Ryan and Kelsey’s wedding at Regina’s Wascana Country Club.

Ryan and Kelsey’s wedding at Regina’s Wascana Country Club.

We started off with Kelsey and the girls at Regina’s Holiday Inn South end, the boys were staying there as well so it was very convenient to go back and forth. I will tell you right off the bat this wedding party rocked! They were so full of fun and laughter that my face was tired of smiling…. it was a blast collaborating with them all.
From there we all congregated at the Wascana Country Club. Behind the golf Lounge for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Pastor Robert Moss preformed the ceremony.
We do it a few family pictures and wedding party pictures then and off we went to Regina’s Government House for bridal and wedding party photos. Man, you know you’re blessed when you’re having so much fun you forgot that you were working.
The bridal party had extra time just to chill for a while, so they went back to Holiday Inn. We continued to Wascana Country Club to do the details etc. We had a beautiful catered supper, Small, intimate with immediate family. More guests joined later for the dance. Wishing you both the best of luck.

Kelsey & Ryan’s Love Story: From the bride
Ryan and I met through Facebook dating! We talked for about a month before I finally pulled the trigger and met him in person. We met at Starbucks and hit it off. On another date he came over to my apartment and laid down on the floor to get my dog, Sadie to like him. She absolutely loved him, which was a huge plus for me, as she never likes any guys! We went out on a number of dates for about a month before we made things official.

He proposed to me at our home when we were living in Pilot Butte. I was working in Regina at the time, and he always called me when I was on my way home to talk about what we were going to have for supper. He did that, that day as well. When I got home, thinking it was just like any other day, our dog Sadie greeted me at the door with a bandana saying, “I loved her first”. I didn’t think anything of it, and just thought Ryan got her a cute bandana. I walked up the stairs and Ryan was standing at the top of the stairs in dress pants, a dress shirt, and a tie, which he never wears! He walked me to the living room, where he had a bouquet of flowers, a coffee mug and to-go mug that said, future Mrs. Torgunrud. He got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. He had this whole speech planned, but he was so nervous, that he just ended up saying, “will you be my wife”. I of course said yes, and it was the most perfect moment. He also had his cousin hiding in the corner of our dining room taking some photos!
