Krissy & Curtis’s Engagement session. They drove down from Regina to do their e session in Yorkton.
Their love story is bitter sweet, they’ve been to hell and back! Cancer is a bitch!
During Covid last year, Krissy kept getting headaches, she finally got to the point where it was so painful she needed to go to the hospital.
The hospital sent her home twice in 48 hrs for what they said was dehydration.
She ended going back in a ambulance for the third time! She couldn’t stand, sit and was getting so sick it hurt her bad.
They finally did a MRI and CT scan. She couldn’t have Curtis or any family members (because of covid) with her when they gave her the horrible news.
She had a brain mass the size of a grapefruit. She was able to go through surgery a week later.
A month after the surgery is when they told her (again all alone) that it was terminal stage 4 GBM and that expected life is 12 months.
They are getting married later this month, the 1 year period since they told her the news.
She looks great and I’ve never seen any person so upbeat and accepting of whatever her future brings…right now it’s happiness, she’s marrying her best friend.
They have a 2 year old daughter and the doctors have told her that another tumor is growing again.
