Regina & Yorkton Wedding Photographer – Another Fabulous Esterhazy Wedding

We started out with Brittany and the girls at Canalta Hotel Esterhazy. Mon was there and it was very emotional watching her shed a few tears as she watched her daughter getting into her wedding dress. Just about had me crying! You can’t ask for a sweeter couple than Brittany and Stefan. They decided on doing their “1 st look” at the motel. As mom and her sisters watched with anticipation (and crying) as Stefan turned to look around at Brittany. I don’t know who cried more…Brittany or mom! Too sweet!
From there we took some photos around Esterhazy, the Community museum was beautifully decorated with all the flowers blooming. Then headed out to the country, there are so many fabulous spots, down in the valley, small creeks running through.
Its always great photos at Our Lady of Assumption (Kaposvar) Roman Catholic Church,it so beautiful inside that old church.
The ceremony was held in the venue where the reception was being held. The S.N. Boreen Community Centre. It was a amazing day with a little rain for good luck, BUT it held off till almost all the photos were taken.
Here’s a peak at their day…..

A little info on their story :
Stefan and I met 6 years ago when a group of my girlfriend’s and I bumped into him and his group of friends at Round Lake. It took us a while to go on our official first date as I was preparing to move off to University and Stefan was busy with a new job but we talked every second we could day and night to get to know each other! The first part of our relationship was spent apart with short visits here and there as I was busy with my studies and Stefan was busy with his job but we knew how to make things work and spent as much time together as we could! Once I was finished school we talked about getting married but to me it wasn’t in the near plans as I wanted to find a place where we could finally settle down and live together first but Stefan had his own plans!
The day he proposed we had made plans to go to Regina to spend the night to help break up the drive to Saskatoon the next day and to give us a little get away time together! Stefan had booked us a nice hotel room, planned a romantic supper (at the same restaurant we went on our first date) and wanted to end the night off with a walk around Wascana Lake
(where we had also gone on our first date). It was the beginning on January and cold and snowy outside though so it took a lot of convincing on his part to get me out of the warm vehicle because I was being stubborn! I was barely out of the vehicle though when I turned around and he was one knee. I am not speechless often but when he asked me to marry him I wasn’t even able to form a word! (I am not one for surprises!) Stefan had a worried look in his face that I wasn’t going to say yes because I didn’t say anything right away, but I eventually did and you could see the relief in his eyes!
