Some advice for anyone getting married
#1 – The most important thing you can do to make your wedding day go smoothly is to allow plenty of time for the unexpected. The wedding day will most likely be hectic , and having extra time to catch your breath will greatly reduce your stress level! Things in general will always take longer than you anticipate. Get a realistic idea of how long it will take to do your hair & makeup. Most brides tend to underestimate how long this will take, allow extra time!
#2- Before deciding on the “dress for you” trying sitting and walking in it. It may look great standing but horribly uncomfortable to sit all evening in at your reception. Tulle while very pretty, attacked insects more than other dresses and they are always getting in between the layers.
#3 – Hire a professional photographer. There are no second chances to do re-takes , is it worth risking your memories to save a few bucks? When its all said and done with, it’s all you have left.
#4 – Use a professional makeup artist. There’s a big difference between a beautiful application that last all day and your friends version where your face shines like Santa’s reindeer. . Have a pre- consultation so they already knows what you want.
#5- There are a lot of things you can do yourself, planning every detail of your wedding but wedding planners can take a lot of stress off your shoulders, even if its just for “the day of” they can get everyone and everything organized.
