Your glam shoot: a few beauty and fashion tips
Everyone wants to look your best for their photo session. All the images will be seen by all your family and friends , use professional services for hair and make-up.
I’m posting some advice for you on beauty, fashion photography.
1) Work out your hairstyle in advance. Take a selfie or two to see how it looks on you.
2) Don’t do anything major just before the shoot. No extreme hair cuts or coloring. You don’t want to be in the situation where you don’t like the new you.
3) If your doing a fake tan, make sure it looks good. Do a trial with the company a month before to see if you like the look
4) Avoid big accessories. They will tend to detract from you in the photographs. Simple but sophisticated accessories work much better.
5) Don’t forget the details, your nails, and skin . Drink plenty of water for the few days beforehand. Have a manicure close to the day.
6) Make up works very differently in photographs compared to in real life. Get it done by a professional, totally worth it. If you don’t know one, we can recommend a good one.
7) Get some false eyelashes– they look awesome in close up photos.
The day of the shoot:
Bring three outfit changes with a different variety of colors, styles and dressiness levels.
Try something classy, something trendy, and a personal favorite. Consider something dark, something light, something sexy and something fun with a variety of necklines and textures.
