Serenity is such a sweetheart. Her grandma asked me to photograph her before she went back into her 2nd round of surgery, 8 years old and damn ovarian cancer.
She is a bright bubbly 8 year old that had a 5 pound germ cell teratoma tumor removed on May 30th which came back positive for ovarian cancer. On Sept 19th they discovered another tumor so she will be going back in for a second surgery and then will be starting chemotherapy soon after.
