We had a beautiful day, the weather was nice for that time of the year. We started out with Angie and the girls at the Russell Inn, some getting ready shots then the “1st look” with Vern & Angie.
They had brought their skido from Cranberry Portage (that’s their home town) so we did a few shots with the wedding party before we left for Asessippi ski resort. Blue Moffat is the creative behind Asessippi Weddings and did a awesome job taking us around to the different locations for photos. Even brought us all hot chocolate to warm everyone up!
We met up with the family at the Sugar Shack room for inside photos. Angie and Vern wanted a intimate wedding with a soft and romantic mood and Blue did not disappoint them. The room was lit with candles, the fireplace and Christmas lights. It was very beautiful. They has a love lock ceremony, as they are a blended family, each lock had one of their children’s names on it, they all came up and put their lock through the tree and locked it forever together. It was my first time to see it, what a great idea. Here’s a few from throughout their day.

How they met (from Angie):
Vern and I met at work. He is the electrician for the school division and I was teaching Grade 3/4. We hitting off right away and became very good friends. We started dating 3 years after becoming friends and then 8 months later started talking about getting married and agreed together we wanted too. There was no official proposal just a discussion and agreement lol. We are both pretty laid back. We are pretty simple people. We both enjoy fishing, camping and skidooing. Guess we just both really enjoy the outdoors.
