It was a great day for a wedding! Laken and Steven were totally enjoying their sunny day wedding. What a awesome wedding party, so many laughs. They wanted us to photograph as the day went on and there was no shortage of photos. Congrat’s guys it was wonderful sharing your day with you thro all the tears and laughter! A little info about them:
Steven and I met at our summer job in 2011. We were both at home in Yorkton for the summer to work between university school years. We both grew up in Yorkton but had never met, or even heard of each other, before that summer. When we did meet though, we fell in love immediately. We started dating that summer without letting the fact that Steven was going to school in St. John’s get in the way. When the summer ended Steven went back to Newfoundland and I moved to Regina to continue school. A month later, however, we realized that being apart wasn’t for us. Without a second thought I packed up my entire life into my tiny car and drove 5,500 kilometers to St. John’s so we could be together. We lived in Newfoundland for three amazing years in a tiny apartment that felt more like home than we could have ever imagined. Next to moving to St. John’s, telling Steven I would marry him was the easiest decision of my life. We laugh more than I thought was possible, we fall in love with each other ever single day, and he never fails to make me feel like the most special girl on the planet. Our lives together so far have been nothing short of a fairy tale and I can’t wait to live the rest of our amazing adventure together!
