Regina Wedding Photographer- Lumsden/Regina Beautiful Fall Wedding

It was a great day for a fall wedding, temps were fine, no rain, rockin wedding party…who could ask for more. We started at Nicole & Spenser’s home in Lumsden, SK. It was the annual Pumpkin and Scarecrow Festival. From the ceremony we drove out to Over the Hill Orchard. It is a beautiful place for photos, the fall colors all around in the valley. They even brought the wedding party out some wine and glasses too, how fabulous is that?
They had Regina‘s Stone Hall Castle book, always a great location for the wedding photos and Jason always has the fire going and candles lite. Their venue was the Travel Lodge on Albert, love it but parking isn’t so good.
They planned their night so that we would have time for some night pic’s. They turned out beautiful, all the brides reading this, plz plan your time to get these, they are so worth it.
Here’s a peak…

A little info about the bride ad groom!

Spenser and I meet when we were 10 years old when I moved to Watrous. We were friends in high school and didn’t start dating til we were in university. We have been together since 2007. We have lived in Saskatoon, Edmonton, Regina and just bought a house in Lumsden in 2016. Spenser had a lead up to the actual proposal by leaving me a message in a bottle on February 14th that lead to a book cypher which once solved said “wouldn’t you say that sunrise is the perfect time of day?” (I’ll double check exactly what it said ASAP, I have it put away) On February 17 he woke up early and told me he was going to work, he later called me to get ready to go take photos of the sunrise. When he picked me up he drove out of town towards an area of the valley that has an old building that I love to take pictures of. He told me that the best view of the sunrise was on the far side of the building. When I walked to the far side he had written out “will you marry me?” I of course said yes.
