Regina Wedding Photographer – Fast cars ,horses and rain- this Regina Wedding had it all!

Wow! The weather man had it in for us, it would rain , then stop for 5 to 10 minutes, then pour again…. it went all day like that. But it really is what you make it,we all had a great time and loads of fun despite the rain. The wedding party was phenomenal, they held the umbrella’s over the bride, groom and us so we could get the awesome photos that we did! A huge “thank you ” to you!!!
Jessica and Travis love racing cars and horses, so it was a sure bet that both would be in this awesome wedding! They are such a sweet couple, it was a pleasure to photograph their wedding.
They went to alot of trouble transporting their cars and horses to different locations around Regina, so there was no way we won’t going to get some pics with them. A big thanks to Barb and Barry for letting us use their beautiful yard and helping out with the horses. Thanks also to Jaydan, Kate, Kelly and Peter for helping with the horses as well.
The guys with the cars at Kings park Speedway were perfect …totally awesome show. They tell me , its drifting! They circled the bride and groom on the track for a pretty cool video and photos. As Travis said|” A couple rings around the bride and grooms rings” Thanks guys for the cars, a little lost of the tires…ha ha! you know who u are.
Thanks to Jessica and Travis for choosing us to share your wedding day with you, here’s a peak at their day.

Video- (cars drifting around them in center of speedway) and their story below

She is stunning in that dress, it was made for her.

Love her flowers, the best I’ve seen in a long time

Their 1st look, we did all the photos before the ceremony, so much more relaxed!

Having some fun in the party bus

If she could do it, he could do it better…ha ha!

Out at Regina’s King Park Speedway

Their horses

Jess looks stunning on her horse!!!

Travis is so lucky, as he was getting on his horse got spooked by something, the saddle came lose and both Travis and the saddle hit the ground. His horse ran right at Jess and her horse, so lucky that she didn’t get bucked off as well.

rainy day memories, her sister was hiding behind them holding the umbrella.

Show you can still have fun on a rainy day, those guys were awesome!

Their cars, Jessica is the designer, love the wraps!

Woozer, hot, hot, hot!!!

A little info about the bride ad groom!
Travis and I went to high school together since grade 9. We both started at Luther College High School and then moved to Campbell Collegiate for grade 11 and 12. We had the same little group of friends that all moved schools at the same time. I was dating his best friend through all of high school and I actually kind of disliked Travis at the time (hehe!). Anyway, after high school Travis and I parted ways and cars ended up bringing us back together about a year after high school. I had a group of friends I regularly hung out with that were all involved in cars and one night Travis ended up meeting up with all of us somehow and we got to talking again. Soon after that, Travis asked me out 13 times. I said no 12 times, and then yes the 13th time! He was persistent! We always say that our mutual interest in cars brought us back together.

Travis proposed to me on Christmas morning in 2015. He stayed over at my parents’ place with me Christmas Eve as he had the last few years. My 3 year old nephew came downstairs into my room to wake us up Christmas morning. My nephew went back upstairs and we got out of bed and got ready to head upstairs. I was in such a rush to get upstairs so I wouldn’t miss my nephews opening their gifts! Travis grabbed my hand just as I was about to leave the room and said “hold on” and he got on one knee and proposed. I had zero idea it was coming – totally surprised!
